I've been the publicist for The Saint At Large™ and The Black Party® for 10 years. Here is a 2019 preview feature I placed for Rites XXXVIII: The Black Party® (Dark Matter) produced by The Saint At Large. Story is on the party’s Creative Director that year, Rob Roth. Next image is from the invite/promo.
I'm not Jewish, but am down with Purim, if only for the explosion of hamantaschen! My favorite were the chocolate ones made by Moishe's Bake Shop only for Purim or special order. Sadly, the Moishe's at 115 Second Avenue closed just weeks before Purim 2019. Went to get my chocolate hamantaschen and they were gone!
Two New York Times stories I placed* with a month of each other back in 2015, when my favorite neighborhood spot B&H Dairy @bandhdairy was forced to close for 5 months following a massive fire (with 2 deaths) on the same block. Stories also ran in the other dailies, and on dozens of local neighborhood and food blogs such as New York Post, New York Magazine’s Grub Street, and many others. Photos of B&H Dairy, ABC7, NBC4, NY1. I also ran a GoFundMe campaign.
Just got "The First Sister." Been very curious to read this by queer sci-fi author Linden A. Lewis. @lindenalewis. I'm a sucker for great cover art, so this was love at first sight.
Cazwell @cazwellofficial gave me one of the best recommendations ever, “Andy Reynolds made me gaymous!” Photo by Marco Ovando. @marco_ovando 😎 (Congrats on "Dolls" Marco!)
From postcard I picked up at the SCOPE Art Show in March of 2019. "My Rules" by Brazilian artist Lucio Carvalho @luciocarvalhoart
