DEKKOO ORIGINAL SERIES

Feral” An 8-episode dramatic series about a group of queer 20-something friends navigating love and loss in Memphis, TN, marks Dekkoo’s first foray into original programming.

Love is Blind” A brand-new, original gay dating reality show. Each episode follows sixteen single New York City men on eight (one per episode) off-the-wall, unpredictable, and blind-as-a-bat first dates–and takes the viewers along on the ride.

I’m Fine” Dekkoo calls “I’m Fine” their first take-it-with-you “pocket series.” Season 1 consists of eight short episodes, each around 5 minutes in length. Set in West Hollywood, “I’m Fine” tells the story of Nate, who just broke up with his boyfriend – BUT IS TOTALLY FINE! – and in doing so takes a fresh, honest, and humorous look at gay male relationships and friendship, and the often-blurry line between the two. Season 2 was released on January 20, 2018.

“Feral” Press

Season 1 trailer for “Feral,” Dekkoo’s hit original drama.
press release

“an authentic queer drama” – Michael Lambert, OUT.com

“passionate portrayal of young, gay people struggling to find love and meaning in a confusing world. – Memphis Flyer)

“vulnerable and brave.”– EdgeMediaNetwork

“we found ourselves binging over two days without a single regret.” – He Said Magazine

Feral is a show worth watching by any standards. It’s visually beautiful, and it treats its themes with a kind of care and investment that’s often lacking in genre TV. It’s also an example of what indie filmmakers and showrunners are capable of making with the right kind of institutional support, and for that I think it deserves our careful—and sustained—attention. – Popmatters

“I’m Fine” Press

“I’m Fine Captures Both the Gay and Straight Millennial Experience in L.A.” – LA Weekly

“…a slice-of-life show, slow and atmospheric, with enough observant, biting dialogue thrown in to keep you interested.” – Phoenix New Times

“We might be watching a one-off episode of a pre-existing HBO show like “Girls” or “High Maintenance.” But we’re not: “I’m Fine” is its own, completely unique take on gay life in West Hollywood in the PReP era. And it’s stunningly on-point.” – The Pride LA

“While the web series does not offer any clear remedies for loneliness, it is a staggering conversation starter that accurately portrays the unglamorous side of West Hollywood, homing in on gay mental health and dating culture. It is the perfect counterweight to programs like ‘Fire Island’ and ‘What Happens at the Abbey.'” – Pride.com

Love Is Blind

Trailer for Dekkoo original series “Love is Blind”.
press release

I just watched the first online episode of Love is Blind from the site Dekkoo.com, and it was so adorable. The premise is simple, it’s just a blind date between two men that has been planned out by the show. I thought it was great and I want to see the next episode. It’s nice to see a show about real guys on a one on one date. – Gay Comic Geek
